I think I have told most everyone, but just in case I didn't...I AM PREGNANT! It's been a long hard journey for us, we have been wanting and trying for a baby for the last 3 years. We didn't have health insurance, and so we couldn't really make any progress on the baby front. We kind of gave up on really trying like two years ago. I even had a doctor tell me that I probably couldn't get pregnant because of a hormone imbalance. Well, the week I found out I was pregnant, I was going to make an appointment with LDS family services to find out more about adoption. It's funny how things happen isn't it?
Anyway, I am 11 weeks pregnant today, due October 8. We just went in for our first appointment today and it was so surreal to see the baby that IS really inside me, and hear it's little heart beat. It even waved at us and gave a little kick...I think it was probably dancing a little jig of joy. At least I know that I haven't been feeling sick for no reason now.
Ryan got to come too to the doctors appointment, so that was really fun. He was the one who was more excited about blogging it than me, so he wrote a little message too. We will keep you posted as more exciting things happen though.
RYAN:
When I actually saw the ultrasound it was a little freaky. I did however, for those of you who know me, not cry or shed any tears. I guess even now it is still a little hard to believe that I am going to be a dad. The word DAD is somewhat scary to me, but I know it will be so much fun.

CONGRATS! I felt the same way when we saw Evie for the first time - it was such a relief to have visual confirmation that I was pregnant. I held on to the ultra sound picture for a good three hours after the appointment and even framed it :) You guys are going to be awesome parents and Chuck's gonna have a heart attack !
What a cute little baby you have. You will be great parents. Can't wait to see the little one!

awwww!! As Ryan would say "Hi Baaaaaaby! Hi Baaaaaaby!" ;) I am SO excited and I can already tell he/she is soooooooooooo cute! I love you three (awww, sounds good, huh?)
