This last weekend, Me and my mom and Jack went to California for a little visit. I was a little nervous before we went because Jack had a really bad night before we left. Lots of crying, not a lot of sleeping, makes me not that excited to go to someone else's house and do all that. We tried to go to California once before, but Jack's sleeping habits and someone being sick kind of ended that trip. Well, the first night we were there he slept almost through the night. The rest of the nights were just his normal sleep for a couple of hours, wake up, eat, then sleep till morning. So, for Jack, he did great. On top of that, he was so happy the whole time we were there. I had Lori saying, "I don't know what you're talking about he's such a good baby, we haven't even heard him cry"....which he didn't pretty much the whole time we were there. Jack LOVED, Lori, Cori, and Taylor. If I was holding him and one of them walked by he would reach out for them and whine. Jack and Dax were so cute together too.
Dax is my cousin Cori's little boy, and he is a little over a year older than Jack. At first Dax didn't really know what to think of Jack, Jack was all hands and grabby, and wants to touch anything new...which happened to be Dax.

After he warmed up a little he was thought he should introduce himself to Jack..."Hi little guy, my name is Dax. Nice to meet you".

After they became acquainted, they decided they should go head to head in an arm wrestle. Jack's saying..."go easy on me dude." Seriously though, they were so cute together! and Dax was such a good sharer, and helper, and so gentle with Jack.

Jack got lots and lots of kisses! doesn't he looked thrilled? We're gonna make him love kisses, cause this is definitely a family of kissers, we like to put our lips on those babies chubby cheeks! When I say that Jack loved Lori and Cori, and Taylor...I'm not exaggerating. Jack and I would go down stairs in the morning to play, and it would just be us, nobody else was awake and he would be so sad. I've never seen him get like this before. It was like he was disappointed that no one else was down there. Then when he would see Lori...he would get so excited! She could entertain him way longer than I could.

Jack was usually a little too wiggly for Great Grandma to hold him, but we caught him in a somewhat still state, just long enough for Grandma to be able to hold him. He loved his Great Grandma too!

Dax was having fun playing in his old baby bath tub that Cori brought over for Jack to use. It looks like he is just slightly too big for it now.

Look at that sweet little face. He was so good the whole time we were in California. I didn't know a baby could have as much fun as he did. He had the time of his life. My mom and I were a little worried what he was going to be like when we got home, minus all his new girlfriends.

Well, let me tell you...when we got home that night he was not a happy camper. He basically through a fit all the way till he went to bed that night. My dad was holding him while I was cleaning up his bath stuff and he was not happy, thrashing around and crying. So, I came out with my camera to document it for Lori, like any good mother would do. Except every time I put the camera up to my eye...this is what I got....little angel face.

I finally caught him off guard to capture this beauty...
Poor, little buddy missed his new people. He's all about a party, and lots of attention. He was bummed to be back home and with the same old four people he's always with.
Thanks for such a fun time Lori! It was so fun to see everyone, and staying at your house is like staying at home. We love you guys! and we will definitely be back soon. Jack misses you all already.
