I just got back from visiting SC this last week, and I had a blast. It's still a little weird going "home" and not staying with my parents, but it's so much fun staying with my Aunt and Uncle, Lori and Paul. Friday my friend since I was 5, Suzanne, came and picked me up from Lori's and we went down to the pier for a walk and lunch. It was a beautiful day out, and it made me sad that I didn't bring my bathing suit because the water was turquoise and green, and calling my name. It was so hot too! When we got up to cross the tracks over to the pier the train went by, and Jack loved that. Whenever there is a loud noise he screams along with it.

I let Jack walk a little bit on the pier, cause I thought I could get some cute pictures, but then all I could see was bird poop and fish guts, so that photo op didn't last too long.

Here's Suzanne and Jack. She is pregnant and due in January, but you totally couldn't even tell unless you looked at her from the side. She is gonna be such a cute little momma!

On our way back from the end of the pier a pelican flew right up landed on the railing in front of us. Jack was very excited, and kept pointing and grunting. It stayed there for the longest time, so I took a ton of pictures. It looked pretty cool so close up.

On Saturday, I got to visit more friends. In the morning I went over the Boyes' for a short visit. Here is Jack with Val's kids, Jack, Walker, and Vienna. Big Jack was so sweet with my Jack, and could really get him giggling.

For lunch On Saturday, Jack and I went to see my other friend since I was five, Kristy. She just had a baby about four months ago, and she is so adorable! She looks just like her mama. We had Las Golandrinas, and caught up on life.

Sunday, after church Derek came over to Lori's for dinner. Jack LOVED his uncle Derek! He had so much fun playing with him.

Jack has a serious fascination with big sticks...hmmm. Anyway, Dax had lots of sticks for Jack to choose from, a golf club, a sword, a light saber, and a broom, oh and Grandma's cane which was off limits cause he could do some serious damage with that thing. Grandma tried her hardest to keep it away from him.

But, his favorite stick was the broom. I'm not kidding, he loved that thing! He even had to hold it while he ate in the morning at the table, and while he had his bottle. He also found a few other big sticks at various places that we went. At the church he found the big dust mop stick (still attached to the mop), and at my friend's house a big wooden flag pole (with the flag still attached). Both of these occasions ended in huge disappointment for Jack.

Also, anytime we were around Dax, Jack really felt affectionate towards him, which is really weird because he isn't really affectionate towards anyone. He would run towards him with his arms open to hug him and mouth wide open to kiss him. Dax wanted nothing to do with that, his dad trained him well. Dax would run away with a concerned look on his face, and Jack would just laugh. Here's Jack burying his head in Dax after a failed attempt to love on him.

And Dax looking up at his mom, like, "did you just see that, are you going to let that happen again?" On the last day Dax decided to finally relinquish a kiss to Jack, on his forehead. So cute! Sorry Jackson.

Here's the two little trouble makers, Dax teaching Jack how to play the piano.

Thanks for letting me stay with you Lori and Paul! I seriously had so much fun seeing everyone, and having a kid friendly place for Jack to run free! Love you guys. Can't wait to see you again soon!
