8 More Days

Yesterday, Ryan and I decided we wanted to go back to our old ward in PG to visit. It was our favorite ward that we have been in since we got married, so it was nice to go back and say hi to some people. In sacrament we sat in front of this older couple and our old land lord, Kelly. Kelly was asking how we were and about the baby and how much longer, and all that stuff. The whole time we never said a word to the other couple sitting there. Even when we lived in that ward before I don't think we ever said a word to them either. When we walked out of the chapel to go Sunday school, the lady from the couple that sat behind us said, "Good luck with the baby and everything." I said thank you and smiled and we went on our merry way down the hall.

Then in Sunday school we sat behind that same couple from sacrament, in a row with some of our friends. Didn't say a word to them then either. We stayed in the same room fro Relief Society, so I stayed in my same row with my friends, and she stayed in her same row, sitting directly in front of me. After Relief Society was through, we all stood up to leave, and she turns around right as I am standing and says, with a sweet little old lady smile on her face and sweet tone in her voice, "you just look absolutely miserable", then she walked away...Thanks a lot lady, I really appreciate it. I was actually feeling pretty good today, I did my hair, I did my make up, I had what I thought was a pretty cute outfit on. Granted my stomach is freaking huge and I am kind of uncomfortable, but I wasn't even complaining about it...especially not to her. What the h***?

Anyway, here I am, looking absolutely miserable...8 official days left...I'm pretty sure he is going to be late though. So don't get your hopes up.
And here are couple of my Chuck, just for kicks. He has to be near me all the time, even if it means laying on all the junk on my desk while I am at the computer. This guy can relax anywhere.

Wow, old people (generally old ladies) can be such farts sometimes. Just don't go back to the ward and be near her after the baby is born! Then she'll start saying rude things about your parenting skills, the baby's looks, etc. I bet you looked fab, since you look great in the picture you posted (you look 100% better than I did!)

Yay for the home stretch! Let me know if you need anything!!

Erin, I think you look WONDERFUL, especially for only having a week to go. Don't let people bug you with rude comments. I had someone ask me how overdue I was with C and I had 4 months to go. :)

OK, so maybe I don't get it, but with that big ol bump on the front of you, it sort of looks, how would I say it, umm, miserable. It's not a personal attack, it just seems like it would feel, um, really awkward? Do you ever almost tip over when you stand up? That's got to kill your back, right? I don't know, maybe I just don't get it? It looks .......like it should come OUT! See a doctor! Love, Uncle Chris

I love your baby bump, you look fabulous for only having a week to go. I can't believe what people say sometimes. Your cat is so cute too. I feel bad for him when the baby comes. Our poor cat kind of got the boot when we brought Curren home, I felt bad.

You look so cute!! I can't wait for baby jack to be born! I remember getting a few "Wow, you must be having twins" comments when I was pregnant with Tanner. "No, just one in there, thank you very much for ruining my day!" I think you look radiantly gorgeous!

Wow, she must be a really out-of-it old person, cuz you look DARLING and happy! I'm impressed with the way you pull off pregnancy. Don't let this put you off to old people... I've met some of the most amazing, wondering, funny, caring old women EVER! They're just like us with feelings and emotions, wants and desires, but they've had more experiences of every kind and they're often so lonely. This one must be bitter or something cuz she definitely was (as one of your friends put it) such a fart.

Also, I LOVE the pics of Chuck. What a sexy model. I think I'm going to post some pictures of Sebastian with me and Alex right after she was born, just because I think you'll really appreciate them. They're pretty hilarious.

One more thing, your Uncle Chris' comment was hilarious!

I don't think you look miserable at all- way to get dressed up! By that time I think I might take my chances wearing sweat pants to church. What can they do? You're multiplying and replenishing right? And it's such a NICE round belly!!

I love the pics of Chuck. Are you getting him a shirt that says, "I'm a big brother?"

I think you look... miserably cute. Is that offensive?? :) I scrolled down and saw the picture and went... "whoooah..." I mean, it is quite a belly. Are you sure there is only one Jack?? (I can talk crap, right.. cuz you love me..??)

You look adorable, and your baby is taking over your body!!! Don't worry. When I was in the hospital, after having the boys, I went on a walk to the gift shop with Tyler in his little seat. Tanner was still in ICU. My mom was carrying Tyler and the lady asked how old her baby was, then turned to me and asked me when I was due. Some people have no clue! Oh well. It's a funny story to tell anyways. Hang in there for a little while longer! I can't wait to see baby pictures!

You should've worn a patch.

And I think you lied about your belly button popping out...I don't even see a dimple of it in that picture! LIAR!

Hoorah for one more week! I don't think he'll come more than a week or two late, don't worry ;)

I cant believe it's already time! Time just flew by for me! :) Maybe that's because we've only had TWO belly shots the whole time. You should be ashamed. You look so great though!
