Crawling

So, Jack just had surgery on Friday, on his eye and another place that shall remain nameless. If you are creative I'm sure you can think of a few places. If you're not creative give me a call and I will tell you over the phone, maybe. He had this stye thingy on his eyelid, that they wanted to remove because it wasn't going away like it was supposed to. So, they piggy backed that operation with the other one, since he was getting knocked out anyway for the other surgery. 

Anyway, it was rough. He was actually so good and happy the whole time before. He looked totally adorable in his hospital gown and socks with his skinny legs hanging out (I should have taken a picture). He flirted with every woman that came up to him and talked. Any dudes that talked to him, he looked at with a serious face. When I had to finally hand him over to the nurse and the anesthesiologist, he was excited that this nice woman was holding him. I mean, he was laughing and squealing as they walked down the hall away from me. He could care less that I was fading from his view, he'd moved on to more exciting people. It was a relief that he wasn't screaming his head off and crying while they walked away from us, but at the same time I felt kind of guilty knowing what he was going to do and him being so happy, having no idea what was to come. 

The surgeries went good. He is pretty much back to his old self. Here he is right after surgery, asleep, but his little face is so sad looking.
Since we have come home, he has started crawling. The surgery didn't even phase him, or slow him down. He just picked up where he left off. Before the surgery, he was army crawling like crazy, but when we got home, he was up on his knees. He still isn't totally steady, but he should be going full force by the end of the week at the rate he is going.

Please don't pay any mind to how my video camera makes it sound like we all have lisps...we don't.
