Lightning

Last night we had a rad thunder storm! I was down in the basement on the computer and all of a sudden the light coming in the windows was green, and I could hear the thunder and see the lightning. I ran upstairs and outside to check it out, then ran back downstairs to get my camera, then back outside to take some pictures. The green light was gone by then, and now everything was orange. The sun was setting so it made for some pretty cool cloud action. And I've never seen everything so orange before. As the storm rolled over us to the east I was able to get some pretty cool shots of the lightning. I've never been able to catch lightning on my camera before, but these strikes were all exceptionally long so I got lucky.

Uh, lightning, obviously. When the storm was right over us.
The storm wasn't on top of us anymore, but off the east. This is when I got a whole bunch of cool shots. I hope you're able to make these pictures bigger when you click on them. Cause they are pretty sweet, if I do say so myself :)
