Working in the Yard

My parents are getting ready to put their yard in, so yesterday my dad was outback pulling up all the weeds with a shovel. When Jack woke up from his nap, the first thing he wanted to do was go outside, and when he saw my dad using a shovel he got so excited. Since one of his favorite things is tools, he wanted to do it too, so I gave him a little gardening tool shovel to use. That only lasted like 5 minutes, and then he wanted the real thing. This is when my dad first gave him the big shovel. My dad went in the garage to get another one, and then when he came out with that one, he wanted it instead. For Jack, shovel work is very serious stuff. Lets be honest though, most stuff like this is very serious for Jack. He is so intense. He was scrapping the shovel on the ground just like my dad was, and trying to do everything just like him.
