Chuck's Snow Day
In case you didn't know, Utah is getting a huge snow storm right now. Well, as we have already explored on previous posts we all hate driving in the stuff, but did we ever consdier how our feline friends felt about snow? Well yesterday and today I decided to let my feline friend, Chuck, outside to explore. I figured this would be a safe time to do so considering that he is a priss and wouldn't go far with wet, cold, icey, snowy ground. Well, I figured right. he only goes out about five feet away from our house, walks around a little, and then darts back inside and goes staright to cleaning his paws. Today when I let him out, the backyard cat that I named Meredith (she is kind of stray cat that our neighbors feed, but so cute and sweet), decided to come join us. Meredith and Chuck's relationship is very complex, some minutes they are buddy buddy and some they are at each other's throats, literally. Mostly it's Chuck beating up on Meredith, okay fine, its ALWAYS Chuck beating up on Meredith, but sometimes I can't tell if they are playing or just plain old being mean.
Chuck, gingerly taking his first steps out into the snow...
He even took the time to smell the flowers while out on his wintery walk.
He always has to be sure to clean the outside filth off of him when he gets back inside. My cat is very hygenic.
Chuck's lady friend, Meredith Grey
Ready....
Steady...
POUNCE! and that look on Meredith's face does not look like one of enjoyment.

What a typical man... Being a meanie and then pouncing on her later.. just rude.
Yikes! Poor Meredith! She looks terrified! Maybe she should look else where for a kitty friend.
That's hilarious! Chuck's using all the elementary school flirt tactics- tease and taunt and then touch the other kitty's elbow- or in this case, entire chest. Wow, Chuck really went to cop a feel didn't he?? Go kitty.
i tried to let dave play in the snow while we were in utah. he just kept staring at it saying "no. no."
barb- that is so cute! the other day my nephew tyson saw snow for the first time. he woke up that morning looked out the window and said, "ewwwww.....daaaad, what did you do?" he thought his dad did something to mess up the back yard or something....so funny.
I'm sad that I'm allergic to cats. Just think of all the experiences I am missing out on!
That Chuck is the most handsome cat I have ever seen! I'm telling you, get him an agent!!!
lori, I would be priviledged if you would be Chuck's agent. You can have 50% of his earnings if you want to represent him. :)
First of all we need to get professional headshots taken. Then we'll get the list of agents in your area from showbizltd.com. Check it out!
