My Old Ward

This little email train between me and my Releif Society President in my old ward (when we owned our condo), where we lived for two years, explains everything about why I did not like this ward. I thought I would share it with you. It all started when I sent out that one email to everyone in my address book about that shady chain email, that I didn't actually send:

If you received this email from me, I apologize. it somehow hacked my address book and sent it out to everyone i know. but i would never forward something like this to anyone i know intentionally. so sorry if it happened to you. I have been getting a lot emails telling me i have been suckered or tricked...but trust me i know this is not real. i wasn't born yesterday. i would suggest deleting it out of your email as soon as possible...cause it probably sent out to everyone in your address book too.

Actually I’m glad you wrote because I’ve been wanting to say hello and good-bye! I heard a rumor that you were moving but I didn’t know if it was permanent or if you and your husband were just doing an intern somewhere, etc. Could you let me know your plans and if we can help with boxes or anything at all.
(Maybe you’ve already moved – yikes!) We will take you off our ward list and RS email broadcast list, etc., once I know that you are definitely gone. But it was sure nice knowing you and we wish you the best!

Ryan and I actually moved out of your ward about a year ago. We were moving to buy a home in provo, but it fell through, and we are living in an apartment in PG that we were only supposed to be in for a month while our house was being finished. Anyway, the ward was really nice and thank you for everything that you guys did.

I am actually glad that you wrote me back too, I was wondering if Angelique is still in your ward, and if so, would it be possible to get her phone number from you?

I think you might be getting me confused with someone else. Me and my husband ryan lived in 1068 canyon meadow drive #4. when we were there we taught the 15 and 16 year old sunday school class.

The address I saw was off the ward list from long ago so it must have been wrong all along – sorry.

That's the end of our emailing correspondence. I didn't have the heart to write her again and tell her that she still had no idea who I was. Last time I checked I have no baby, and neither of us are going to law school. Also, I thought it was really funny, the whole thing about offering to help us move....when we did move we told the RS and the Elder's Quorum and even offered a free breakfast for anyone who came. Do you want to know how many people came to help us....1. It was Ryan's Home Teaching Campanion who just barely moved into the ward that he hadn't even met yet. Pretty awesome! let's just say that I am really glad that we have a way better ward now. In fact, I love our ward.
