So, I have been tagged yet again, by Lindsay. It was actually a while ago...but I am finally getting to it. I am supposed to tell you 7 little known and interesting facts about me. I have been thinking about this, and my life is pretty much an open book, I don't have many secrets...so this is going to be tough.
1. I had my first kiss when I was 20 (I was practically an old maid right?) It was in a park in Provo, off of State Street and 500 N...and it wasn't really just a kiss it was more like a make out. Good times...but that's what I get for waiting that long to kiss I guess.
2. For my Junior year of college I almost transferred to Colorado State University in Ft. Collins, CO. I was so sick of BYU, and Provo, and I wanted a change. That obviously didn't work out, and as a result that was the summer I met Ryan. BYU grew on me and I stayed and graduated on the 5 and a half year plan in August 2005.
3. When Ryan purposed to me, it was so out of the blue because I was still worried about whether or not he liked me as much as I liked him. We never really had the typical DTR talk that happens so often these days, and I was trying really hard not to scare him off by getting too serious too fast...even though I was really into him. I had no idea how into me he was since we never talked about it. Anyway, what I was trying to say about when Ryan purposed to me was we hadn't even said, "I love you" yet. He asked me to marry him and I was like, "wait a second...do you even love me?" To which he said, "Yes, I love you...so will you marry me?"...Obviously, I said yes.
4. I broke my arm by sitting on it when I was in the 5th grade. My cousin Julia was with me, and we were playing Butts Up on my garage door. I was running to get the ball that had landed on the grassy slope next to the drive way, the grass was slightly wet, when my feet slipped out from under me right as I reached for the ball. Well, my arm stayed where it was (because of my cat like reflexes and amazing hand eye coordination) and my body landed on top of my arm...thusly making it possible for me to break my arm by sitting on it. Julia got to come the hospital and explain to all the doctors how in the heck I broke my arm...it was a good time.
5. I talk in my sleep all the time. I once wok up while I was leaning over my roommates bed, with my arm on the wall, looking down at her, and telling her to "go to hell" in a really evil voice. She looked semi frightened...I don't blame her. I have also jumped from my bed to the same roommate's bed with my comforter wrapped around me like a cap, and then woke up as I was sitting crouched on her bed...again she was semi frightened. Then there is rock water fountain incident, where I thought water was leaking in through the window that was over my head, but really I had just picked up my little plug in fountain that had water and rocks in it and dumped it on myself in the night.
6. I have broken my nose twice before. The first time was the worst when I was in 8th grade playing softball. I was the catcher, and the girl up to bat hit a pop fly between me and the pitcher. I flipped my mask off (lucky for the pitcher) and went for the pop fly. Me and the pitcher both called it at the same time, so we didn't here each other, and we were both looking up trying to catch the ball. Turns out I caught the ball first, I was taller, and then right afterwards we smacked into each other, as I looked down my nose hit her forehead...and I broke the inferior nasal spine. We both fell like boards flat to the ground...I passed out for a couple of seconds and broke my nose, and she walked away with a bump on her forehead. But guess what, after all that, I still caught the ball and got the girl out.
7. My truck almost got impounded this weekend because the plates expired in August, and if you are 3 or more months late they can impound your car. Luckily I got away with just a ticket for $50. But don't worry, I got my truck registered this week, so I am legal again.

you didn't mention who that first kiss was with... i think everyone already knows though:) tee hee! i can always count on good ol big bro to get the job done:)
also- i'm speechless-- you're brunette. so- do blondes really have more fun- or is it just me?
ok so i love you so much- this post made me laugh so hard. i especially loved the "go to hell" memory. also i got your message, and will call tonight around 8 your time. sorry for not getting back to you right away! I owe you and Ryan big time for helping me out with this! love you!
I, too, enjoyed the "go to hell" memory...just as much as I did the first time!
These made me laugh so hard! (And, pssst, we all know why you REALLY wanted to move to Colorado. You weren't really enJoyleing yourself at BYU.
xoxo
enJoyleing!!!! bwaaaaaahahahahahaaaaaaaa! okay, maybe that was the best part of the post, but I love your trips down memory lane, Ernie! I'm surprised booty dance didn't make it on your list...accompanied by a video. That would be a nice touch.
Note to self: don't sleep in the same room as Erin.
oh my gosh...I just now got your pun little andi mae. that is pretty dang funny!
Ya, I'm thinkin I don't want to sleep in the same room as you either. Those made me kinda scared. Has Ryan's life ever been in danger? And, speaking of Ryan.. "yea I love you.. will you marry me?" THAT is classic. :) I love it.
I have never been so violent before...only when I shared a room with andi...ask emily I shared a room with her too. so you all will be fine sleeping in the same room as me.
She's right- we have all lived to tell the tale. But I do miss entertaining night monologues, One Act plays, and comedy theater all in the convenience of my college bedroom.
4 and 5 cracked me up - actually they ALL did. I never get tired of your broken arm story. I remember it like it was yesterday and I'm demonstrating to all the doctors how it's possible to sit on your arm and break it.
and "good little girls make some mighty wild women"!
I love the roomate stories. I can just imagine it. So funny. Kristin had to deal with quite a bit having me as a roomate. I didn't deal very well with loud people outside our window when I had a test the next morning.
I am so glad to read these new things about you! Aside from the broken nose, I never knew the rest! I love the first-kiss-turned-to-make-out-session!! Thanks for sharing!
Erin, its funny what you can find online, ie your blog. I have found it very humorous to read through it and read all the funny random things Ryan does and says. good times. It brings back a lot of memories. Tell Ryan I said hi and tell Chuck, meow, meow, meow, meeooowww, meow.
