Rexburg and Pocatello

This last weekend, Ryan and I went to Idaho to visit family. Friday night we set off for Rexburg to visit my cousin Mary up at school. We got there pretty late friday night, so we didn't get to see her till morning...but we had so much fun. We took her grocery shopping, played games, visited, and went and saw the new temple there. The temple is amazing there...its up on a hill pretty much all by itself, so it really stands out. Driving in to town at night it looked really cool! We sad by to Mary later in the afternoon, when she went to a movie with her friends and we drove to Idaho Falls to meet Jennifer and Nathan.

We met in Idaho Falls because we needed to pick up Debbie and Jack at the airport later that night. So, we killed time by going shopping. Sunday, Jen and Nathan were blessing Lily...which is why everyone came to Idaho in the first place. It was fun to see some of the family for a couple of days...and I couldn't believe how big Lily was. She is such a cute chubby little baby, and she looked so precious in her blessing dress. Lily is such a good baby on top of it. I don't think I heard her cry the whole time...she is always asleep or awake and happy. I even got her to smile at me a couple of times during church while Debbie was holding her. Anyway, I am glad we live close enough that we were able to drive up to Idaho for family occasions such as these.

On our drive home Sunday evening, I took a whole bunch of pictures as we were driving through northern Utah. The Wasatch Front was mostly dark with storm clouds that were moving in, except for this one section of them where the light was shinning right on them, and looked so cool. Then about 15 minutes later when the sun was starting to set I got some cool shots over towards the East with the sun breaking through the clouds. I took both of these while we were driving down I-15.

Beautiful pictures! I love your camera and the shots you get with it! You're so talented! I can't believe Jenny is old enough to have a baby! That means I am getting older than I think. Time sure flies!
