White Christmas...Lots of White!

I know all you people who live in Arizona are going to be so jealous when you see the kind of weather us Utahan's got for Christmas. Snow is so much better than sun and warmth...so don't feel too bad about yourselves when you see what the weather was like for us on Christmas Eve and Christmas. SNOW, SNOW, and more snow! We were pretty much snowed in on Christmas day, but it was actually kind of fun. Although, I wasn't the one out there shoveling the snow.
Jack had a fun first Christmas. He woke up at 7, had some breakfast, and went back to bed for 2 and half hours...just  long enough to miss unwrapping our presents, and a really delicious breakfast. But don't worry, he didn't sleep the rest of the day after that till bedtime that night.

Later that night he was playing with one of his Christmas presents that Santa brought. It's the snowman from the story "The Snowman".
Then the day after Christmas, I got to see my good friend Gloriana and her husband Josh. I don't live near Gloriana, but she's one of those friends that no matter how long you've been away it always feels like you've never been apart. Plus we can always find something to laugh about. Anyway, Gloriana and Josh came over to my  house and hung out for a couple hours. Then later on that night my parents watched Jack and Ryan and I met Gloriana and her family at Temple square to see the lights. It was freezing, but so gorgeous! I think the temperature was in the teens, but we had so much fun.

Jack looks like he could be Gloriana and Josh's little boy...look he even color coordinated with his "mommy".

We had to go inside to get warm for a little bit.

Seriously, I LOVE all this snow. It's so much fun! You truly are a talented photographer... I think the picture of the tree all by itself with all the lights on it is my favorite... that is- it's my favorite non-people picture. Nothing compares to how cute Jack is! And isn't that something that both Jack and Chuck are redheads?

Oh, and Babywise... I know I must have told you about that too. It saved me with Alex and Rory. Isn't it a blessing to have a tool like that? And don't worry; it's not pigeon-holing. Not helping your baby to get the sleep he needs in order to do everything else he needs and wants to do would be pigeon-holing him! But you know that. Congrats :)

Erin!
It's been too long since I checked your blog! Congratulations on your son! He's darling! I love his hair! My daughter Danin has hair almost his color (although not as much of it despite the fact that she is a year older than Jack) and I love it! I'm so glad you guys are doing well!

Jack is just scrumptious. I can't decide who he looks more like-you or Ryan? What's the consensus?

Your baby is sooooo cute! And yes, babywise is so helpful. Jake puts himself to sleep every night. I never have to rock him or stay in the room with him. Keep at it!
