One of my favorite things about Utah is when the mountains have fresh snow on them, all the low snow clouds have cleared away and when the sun sets it makes the mountains look pink. I love when the mountains are pink, not just because its one of my favorite colors but because it really is so beautiful. Its little things like that, that make me greatful to be living in Utah, even though sometimes I wish I wasn't.
Pink mountains in Utah=bright orange and red and purple sunsets in Arizona
Pink mountains in Utah=when the ocean is so blue its almost turquoise and you feel like you could go swimming or surfing in it all day in California
Pink mountains in Utah=waking up to the loudest crack of thunder, a burst of lightning, and the rain that breaks the heat but sometimes not the humidity in Texas
Pink mountains in Utah=the first warm day after a long winter in Wisconsin (I can only imagine)
Pink mountains in Utah=sunny days on the Oregon coast when the ocean is the brightest blue and the trees on the cliffs are the brightest green
Please excuse my corniness, but since last winter I had forgotton about pink sunsets, and even though it was 44 degrees outside and the wind was blowing at like 85mph the pretty sunset made me feel so good.

Well, aren't you just poetic. :) You made me feel warm and fuzzy... Now I think we should all start singing "COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS.. NAME THEM ONE BY ONE.." :)
okay, I am hoping that you are not making fun of me. So, I will take that comment as a compliment, and tell myself that I knew it was coming. love ya!
Pink sunsets in Utah = gorging yourself on a greasy Pat's cheesesteak and huddling with your best friend at Lincoln Financial Field on a blistery, windy, overcast New Years Day, watching the Eagles play the Redskins, and constantly wiping your runny nose while trying to stop the hung-over Eagles fans from falling over the edge of the stadium and taking you with them. Sigh. I love Philadelphia.
Pink sunsets in Utah= crisp clear fall days in Connecticut- when you can smell the leaves and it is just cool enough to make the tip of your nose tingle. It feels like pumpkin pie, and apple cider, fireplaces, cozy beds, scratchy sweaters and winter shoes, roasted chicken, it getting dark earlier and being at home with family. I miss it. I am officially feeling nostalgic- I don't think I'm a California girl.
I love pink sunsets, especially accented by snow! I was driving home last night and it was a little pinkish with these weird clouds that, in the twilight, looked like mountains. For just a split second I felt like I was driving north on University. Sigh.
Arizona Sunsets = Oregons beautiful coastline. I HOPE!!!!
ouch- that hurt my heart a little.
Ok, now lets go around the table and everyone say what THEY are thankful for. I'm thankful for awsome cousins!! (that I dont get to see this turkey day...sniff sniff)
