Car Tunes

A couple of days ago the battery died in our Accord while Ryan was using the car. Apparently when that happens it disables our car radio, and you have to put some code into for it to start working again. Well, Ryan didn't know that and he pushed a different button and it made the radio say "Error". Needless to say our radio doesn't work anymore, unless we disconnect the battery again, and we just haven't got around to doing it yet. So, now, whenever we are driving around we drive around in silence with just our thoughts to entertain us.

Today, Ryan and I went out to lunch, and we drove together in the Accord. For those of you who know Ryan, you know he is a pretty random guy. On our way to lunch, since there was no radio, Ryan decided to sing his own assortment of songs (all very random). On the way home from lunch, out of now where, Ryan started to sing, "Stay", by Lisa Loeb. Usually he makes up his own words to the song, but it still has the right tune. I was very surprised when he actually knew most of the correct words to the song....and he was seriously belting it out. I guess I thought it was so funny because it's such a typical girl song, and it's fairly old. I was just cracking up as he sang..."and now that I am leaving, I know that i did something wrong cause I missed you...", "so I turn the radio on, I turn the radio up, and this woman was singing my song. Other's in love and the mother's run away, lover is crying cause the mother ran away.." Just slightly off. It's supposed to be, "so I turn the radio on, I turn the radio up, and this woman was singing my song. Lovers in love and the others run away, lover is crying cause the other won't stay". And my all time favorite one was...."You said that I was naive, and I thought that I was strong, ohhhh. I thought hey I can leave, I can leave ohhh, but now I know that I was wrong, cause I miss you. yeahh yeahhhh, I miss you." he got all those words right and he sang it in the most obnoxious gravely voice that he could.

I like Ryan.
