Park City, Derek Style
Last night we went to Park City to visit Derek. He has been wanting to take us to dinner at this sushi place he really likes. Derek lives in this really cool house right off of Main Street, so we are walking distance from everything. Anyway, we parked at his house and walked to the restaurant that we ate at. It was this really nice sushi place on Main Street, and of course Derek knew someone who worked there so we got the hook ups. Derek tells the waitress that his buddy usually just makes us some rolls. She asked how many we wanted, and Derek said keep em' coming till we get full... and that is how Big D rolls. Needless to say, we got to partake in some very tasty and artistically displayed food for a very discounted price. Ryan had to use the kiddy chop sticks and a fork because of an unfortunate accident involving a little bowl of soy sauce and wasabi, and a roll that came splashing down into it when he tried to use real chop sticks. (We actually all decided to try the kiddy chop sticks, they looked fun). We went for a drive up Gaurdian Pass too, and saw some amazing views and a "richter" sunset as Derek put it, (as in...off the Richter Scale). Good times, good times. (In case you are wondering where the pictures of Ryan are...he wasn't really in the mood to be photographed. Everytime I tried to take picture of him he would do this really goofy smile).

Do you see the specially rigged sticks and the fork leaning on his plate?

Ha! I think it's interesting that Bone Junior accompanied you on the Sushi festival...tell Ryan that the same thing happened to me with the little thingee of soy sauce, a large slice of Philadelphia roll, and chopsticks...ALL in my lap. Blame it on the Bone.
Looks like a good time!
Andi Mae, I totally forgot about "The Incident". Remembering it made me laugh all over again. I love you.
i want the sushi hook up!
Glad you had fun and didn't have to spend the whole day at the office moving! Love the hook ups from D but not for me...sushi is nasty! Maybe a different restaurant next time (that is if we get up the mountain without blowing up in my car)!
Anyone who says just keep it coming until we get full.. I could "roll" with :) Niiice. And, Big D, I like him too :) Sounds like a richter evening (correct use of the word, no?) ;)
Sounds so fun! I miss Utah
