So last night Ryan and I are going to bed.... we got under the covers, turned off the lights, and were settling in under the cozy down comforter. I was laying on my side facing towards him, and all of the sudden he rolled over on his side, from his back, to face me. He grabbed my head in a very gentle and tender way and leaned his head in like he was going to be all sweet and kiss me on the forehead. I thought to myself, "Wow, this is really out of the ordinary". He doesn't usually do mushy stuff like kissing my forehead, and I probably wouldn't like it if he did, but every once and a while its a nice gesture. So hear I am thinking my husband is so sweet...when what does he do instead of tenderly kiss my forehead....... HE LICKS my forehead. Yep, he licked me on my forhead...what a sweet guy, and he thought he was so funny too.
Then, he continued to torment me (this is part of our nightly ritual), until I said, "I am going to give you a CHANCE to be nice now, before I have to hurt you" (I'm so loving too, aren't I?) Then he said, "I don't want a CHANCE, I want a COMMUNITY CHEST". Like we were playing Monopoly or something.
He's all mine ladies!

Wow...it sounds like the Florence boys are all just about as smooth as nothing!!!! That is TOTALLY something Chris would do to me. However usually he tells me to hurry up and fall asleep while we are watching TV because he likes to snuggle better when I'm sleeping!!!
I can totally hear RyRy say such things. Does he do the captain countdown anymore? I miss that. I also miss your community chest.

I realized that I did the countn down wrong- I knew as I was writing it that there was something off- it was five, four, three, two and one!

We tribute the Captain countdown in our house regularly! And also "Me Five" has taken on a second home in my husband.
I also remember what he said weeks before you got married to me, Em, and G in the Beach House kitchen...but I won't post that here :)
Wait, I meant "what he said to us", not, "before you married me Em and G." Whatever. Freudian slip or something. I don't know.
